Dear our President (Park president),
I am writing this letter because I believe that dogs aren't allowed in apartments. Many 'experts' like apartment house owners who got disturbed by dogs, for example agree with me. I will explain reasons for this and give facts to support my opinion.
The first reason is because they are very loud when they bark. There are statistics to show this is true. According to my experience, the dog that lives right next door is so loud that I am stressed. I got this stress enough and if this happens more, I was about to tell this to the civil affair office in our apartment. I was one of the 'poor' people who get disturbed by dogs. In a MBC news(sorry, it is written and reported in Korean), it says that 10% of house noise problems are...dog sounds!!!!! http://imnews.imbc.com/replay/nwtoday/article/3308938_5782.html
The second reason is because they let out 'dirty things' and pollute the apartment. It has been discovered that in the other news, dogs let out their dung into a snow. Where did they let it out? It was a park. Dogs pollute places that many people use, like a park! There are bad owners who don't even try to clean the dung. These two combies make 'more pollution'. In the same MBC news that I had mentioned, people do not hang collars although there is 50,000 won fine when they didn't hang collars on dogs. The park is getting polluted by dogs, and the owner, too.
The third reason is that they are aggresive and sometimes bite people. Dogs that doesn't have collars bark and run around, frightening people. This happens commonly at apartments, or a park. I saw a dog running around the apartment that I live, anda woman was frightened when it went right past her. I was surprised and shocked, too! There is data to show this is true; the same MBC news (This news has many things to claim about dogs' disadvantages.). In the news, a dog barks to people in a park, and the people looked surprised.
As you can see, dogs are main problems in apartments or in a park. They bark, let out, and are aggresive! I don't like dogs very much because they make probolems to people. Based on my arguments, I hope you will consider my point of view that dogs are public 'problems' and must not live with people in apartments. Dogs might make their owners happy, but might disturb the rest of all people.
Sincerely and seriously,
Timothy
Tim,
ReplyDeleteThis is a good letter. You used a news report to help support your argument but I think you need stronger reasons to persuade me because I like dogs.
When you say dogs on collar the correct word for this is "leash".
